Start leading even if you have no experience

This post is adapted from a section that was cut from the manuscript of my book titled, A Day of Hope.

Start Leading Even if You Have No Experience

When I first started leading A Day of Hope I had zero leadership experience.

Nadda, none, nothing.

I probably couldn’t even have spelled the word leadership! I had about a year of college education, no job at the time, and had never worked at a steady full-time job in my entire life. But I had a heart to help people in need, and that led me to grow as a leader. Even though I had no leadership experience, I had leadership potential. I believe you do too.

Even if you’ve never been a leader before, I believe you have the potential to lead people.
